Luke Sinnen, the leader of our Business Performance Management practice, joined the firm in 2003. Luke oversees Oracle-Hyperion EPM software implementation projects managing the overall financial transformation – creating company-wide budget and forecast models.
He communicates directly with clients’ executive management to control the quality of work throughout a project lifecycle, as well as reviews and adjusts the SC&H Oracle-Hyperion EPM implementation methodology to reflect updated guidance and best practices. He has significant experience in all phases of development including analyzing requirements and proposing best practice design alternatives, data analysis, data modeling, optimization, testing, training, and project management.
His functional expertise includes business process modeling, business process re-engineering, budgeting and forecasting, driver based modeling, detailed waterfall allocations, rolling forecasts and advanced analytics. Luke possesses strong customer focused product strategy and management experience in finance, sales and operational planning.
Luke has been leading the development of EPM applications for more than 20 years including Oracle-Hyperion specific experience making him a guru in the industry. He led the implementation of the largest deployment of an Oracle EPM Cloud solution in Oracle’s history. He is recognized for his expertise throughout the industry being asked by Oracle to deliver presentations at Oracle’s OpenWorld, CloudWorld, Kscope and Modern Finance conferences. Luke has a close working relationship with Oracle product development and is frequently consulted to help guide the direction of future releases, and work with beta software to provide real world feedback on new features and functionality.
Luke graduated Magna Cum Laude from Villa Julie College with a B.S. in Computer Accounting and Business Information Systems. He has certifications in Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, and Hyperion Enterprise. Luke is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong accounting and finance background. He is also a member in the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Outside of the office you will find Luke perfecting his grill master skills, or spending time with his family.
