Tom Hood, a Director on our Business Performance Management team, has been with the firm since 2012. He leads the Augmented Solutions practice, which provides clients with an ongoing layer of finance expertise to augment their existing finance team(s) or provide continuous support to help in their financial transformation efforts. Tom has a broad range of proficiencies across multiple industries, most notably hospitality, food and beverage, government contracting, consumer brands, manufacturing, and healthcare.
With more than 10 years of experience leading organizations through digital transformation efforts, Tom brings a scalable approach to help his clients meet the demands of a rapidly changing business environment, and more importantly, sustaining those efforts on an on-going basis. After years of leading large deployments of Oracle Cloud EPM solutions, Tom is thriving in his new role leading the Augmented Solutions division. This has afforded him the chance to tap into his innovative and entrepreneurial affinities, while building a team focused on helping clients navigate the rapidly changing finance and accounting landscapes.
Tom graduated from Salisbury University with a B.S. in Accounting and currently holds a seat on the board of the Baltimore Jewelry Center, an organization that provides him an opportunity to channel his passion for the arts into helping strengthen the Baltimore artist community. He is also a member of the MACPA Innovation Committee and the AICPA Future of Finance Group.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys traveling, dining, and drinking fine wine with his wife, Cassandra.
