While a SC&H client was preparing for a sizable transaction, Greg and his team were preparing for how the client could best allocate expected proceeds from the sale to minimize personal income and estate tax liabilities. Post-transaction, Greg was able to help the family realize tens of millions in net after-tax dollars that they otherwise would have relinquished to taxes.
Greg and his team at SC&H constantly make the best use of changing tax law to position his clients for fully leveraging income and estate tax savings opportunities under all circumstances, but especially for those events that may suddenly arise. Over the years, he has assisted clients in passing on billions of after-tax dollars to the next generation, assets that otherwise would have gone to taxes. Expert in combining income tax investment and allocation strategies with IRAs, conversions, and donor-advised funds for charitable deductions, Greg creates extremely favorable tax consequences and future tax-favored income streams for his clients.
A co-founder of SC&H Group, Greg’s focus is on the firm’s servicing of high-net worth individuals in the areas of taxation, personal financial planning and multi-generational family wealth planning. He also provides international planning services for clients living and working overseas. In addition, Greg is president of SC&H Financial Advisors which manages more than $250 million in client assets. Greg is a registered investment advisor and holds Series 6, 7, 24, 28, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as life and health insurance licenses in several states.
With a strong foundation in tax and business consulting services gained at a Big 4 international accounting firm, Greg services SC&H’s most sophisticated and complex high net worth clients. He and his team have dedicated expertise in minimizing present and future tax liabilities, while developing and executing the strategic means and plans for clients to reach their financial or retirement objectives.
