Sam Heroux, a Wealth Advisor on the SC&H Wealth team, joined the firm in 2015. Sam works with individuals and families to help navigate their tax, retirement, investment, insurance and education needs.
He works with his clients to provide comprehensive financial advice and guidance through understanding their goals and what is most important in their lives. He believes that developing strategies to minimize taxes is a critical component of building wealth.
With years of tax compliance experience, Sam works with high-net-worth individuals on tax return preparation and numerous tax planning areas, including investment income planning and reporting, tax-efficient retirement withdrawal strategies, real estate planning, and stock option planning. He believes that his combined specialization in personal financial planning and tax helps best serve his clients holistically.
He is focused on providing exceptional service by getting to know each person on an individual level and treating their situation as if it were his own. Sam attributes his success to ambition and attention to detail, with a personal service philosophy of treating everyone with respect.
A Towson University graduate, Sam earned a B.S. in Accounting. He maintains his Series 65 license and a licensed Investment Adviser Representative. Sam is also an Enrolled Agent, the highest credential the IRS awards. Outside of the office, he loves to work on his golf game whenever he can and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
