Shannon Watford is a Client Service Specialist in SC&H’s Wealth Management practice, joining the firm in January 2025. As part of the client service team, Shannon plays an integral role in supporting clients on their journey toward financial success, bringing warmth, dedication, and a collaborative spirit to every interaction.
Shannon’s approach to client service is rooted in a genuine passion for helping people. She thrives in a team environment where everyone is united around a common purpose: empowering clients to achieve their financial goals. Her background in early childhood education, including years spent teaching kindergarten and pre-kindergarten and serving as a learning center director, has shaped her into a patient, attentive, and client-focused professional who excels at making complex topics feel approachable.
What Shannon values most about her work is the people, both the clients she serves and the colleagues she works alongside. She believes that a strong team makes all the difference, and she brings that same energy and care to everything she does, approaching each day with warmth and a genuine sense of humor that puts clients and colleagues alike at ease.
Shannon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College).
Outside of work, Shannon is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She donates blankets and supplies to local and Eastern Shore animal shelters, supports Bailey’s Heart, a Harford County nonprofit honoring a young life lost to cardiac arrest, and helps gather clothing for two school-based thrift stores serving low-income students. When she’s not volunteering, Shannon enjoys live music, walking her dog Bronx, and spending quality time with family at the beach.
