Mamoud Sanu is a Staff Accountant on SC&H’s Wealth Management team. He specializes in personal, estate, and trust returns, as well as IRS 1099 and W-2 preparation.
Getting involved in client’s tax returns to help them achieve the best, and ethical, returns is what drives Mamoud in his role. He enjoys providing assistance to his team who in turn want the best for him and his career.
A graduate of Stevenson University, Mamoud earned a B.S. in Business Administration and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with an A.A.S. in Accounting. Mamoud is a Licensed Tax Preparer by the Maryland Department of Labor.
Outside of the office, Mamoud enjoys volunteering for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, CASH Campaign of Maryland, and preparing state and federal tax returns for taxpayers who may not be able to afford the services of a paid tax preparer. He also supports the Amie Academy Foundation through donations in order to provide quality educational programs and needed social and healthcare services.
Mamoud enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, running, working out, gardening, playing basketball, traveling, and hanging out with family and friends.
