Jeff Shaney, Commercial Real Estate Appraiser at SC&H Group, Receives Designation
SC&H Group, a leading audit, tax, and consulting firm, announced that Jeff Shaney, a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser with the firm’s Appraisal Services practice, achieved his MAI Commercial Appraisal Designation from the Appraisal Institute.
As the leading global professional association of real estate appraisers, the Appraisal Institute awarded this designation to Shaney for meeting the full requirements to become an official MAI Appraiser Designate.
From receiving a passing grade on a series of examinations that reflect 380 hours of classroom instruction to obtaining credit for 6,000 hours of experience, including 3,000 hours of specialized commercial real estate appraisal experience, Shaney now has significant depth of knowledge to provide enhanced appraisal services to SC&H Group’s clients and prospects.

In addition, Shaney received this designation for demonstrating appraisal-reporting capabilities for an income-producing property by presenting a properly supported value estimate or opinion evaluating the nature of an asset, as required by the Appraisal Institute.
