Advises Dixie Chopper on its Sale to Jacobsen, a Division of Textron

Industry:

Transaction Type:

Special Situations

Dixie Chopper (the “Company”) is a family-owned manufacturer of high-end zero-turn radius lawn mowers with strong brand recognition. The Company provided floor-plan financing to agricultural dealers to support inventory placement.

A default under the floor-plan facility triggered cross-defaults under the senior term loan, creating significant financial strain. Strategic alternatives were evaluated to identify a buyer capable of supporting future operations.

The Company was acquired by Jacobsen, a division of Textron, enabling continued operations under a larger, established outdoor-equipment manufacturer.

Note: This transaction was completed by Managing Director at prior firm.
