The ABAR designation is the valuation profession’s only credential certifying competence in the review of business appraisal reports. As such, the ABAR credential is specially designed for business valuators whose work involves the review of valuation reports and analysis performed by others. Achieving and maintaining this designation requires a skill set that can only be gleaned from highly specialized, seasoned professionals in the field.
Nathan, Senior Manager of SC&H Group’s Business Valuation Litigation Support services team has over 18 years of professional experience. His practice areas include fraud, business valuation, litigation support, expert witness, and financial reporting engagements. Nathan has performed fraud related services such as financial statement analysis, forensic investigations, corporate investigations and fraudulent conveyance analysis. In addition, Nathan works closely with attorneys in connection with litigation involving marital dispute, valuation matters, lost earnings calculations, fraud and various accounting matters. He has experience in business valuations involving real estate entities, manufacturers, distributors, biotechnology and service companies. Nathan focuses primarily on financial reporting valuation and fair value engagements including purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment analysis, stock option valuations. Nathan is the current Chairman of the MACPA Business Valuation Litigation Services Committee and was recently appointed to the AICPA Business Valuation Committee for the 2012-2013 year.
