Blissfield Manufacturing Company – This fourth-generation, family–owned business specializing in heat transfer technology within the automotive, off-highway vehicle, commercial refrigeration, and industrial equipment markets retained SC&H Capital to facilitate a sale of the company. The existing lender had tightened availability to a point where the company was having trouble fulfilling its purchase orders, and revenues were dropping dramatically.
SC&H was able to negotiate an agreement with the existing lender to continue financing operations in order to conduct a comprehensive marketing process. A wide range of potential lenders, investors, and buyers conducted due diligence, and ultimately, a sale to BMC Global, Inc. was completed. Upon closing, the buyer continued to operate the company and kept a majority of the 30 employees.
