New Decisionaire Helps Organizations Keep Internal Controls in Check
SC&H Group has launched a new automated online assessment that helps organizations determine if they are meeting the controls requirements for the updated Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) Framework.
In May 2013, COSO launched its enhanced Framework, which aims to help organizations mitigate the risks inherent in continuously changing technological, economic, and regulatory environments. Historically, public companies have used the 1992 COSO Framework.
SC&H Group’s new online “COSO Framework Assessment” Decisionaire will help companies understand key principles of the new framework. It also serves as a benchmark in assessing the effectiveness of an organization’s system of internal controls relative to the new Framework.
If implemented properly, the new COSO Framework can provide a solid foundation for developing and maintaining sound internal control practices to minimize the risk of asset misappropriation.
