Employees Dedicated Day to Volunteer Work In the Community
SC&H recently hosted its ninth annual Day of Service. The Day of Service allows employees to give back to the community through volunteering efforts.
In coordination with Business Volunteers Maryland, SC&H employees dedicated the entire day to helping those in need in Baltimore and Washington D.C.
This year, SC&H’s team in Maryland volunteered time at Living Classrooms Foundation, Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, Irvine Nature Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County – Camp Hidden Valley, and The Baltimore Station. In Northern Virginia, the team volunteered its time at Food for Others.
The company estimates that employees collectively donated more than 500 hours through this event.
