Tani Gerstman is a Controller in SC&H’s Accounting Solutions practice with experience developing tailored functions that address an organization’s unique operational and financial needs. Since joining the firm more than three years ago, he has helped clients strengthen their financial operations through accurate reporting, efficient processes, and technology-driven insights.
Tani manages the full-cycle accounting process and provides clients with clear, timely financial information that supports confident decision-making. One of his specialties is applying the ASC 606 revenue recognition principle to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting. In his role, Tani supports clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing—particularly medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing—professional services, and startups, with a focus on SaaS companies.
Passionate about problem-solving, Tani thrives on finding creative ways to address challenges and improve financial performance. He enjoys collaborating closely with clients to design systems and workflows that align with their goals, creating long-term value through efficiency and clarity.
Tani earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and completed his CPA prerequisites at the University of Maryland Global Campus. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
