Robin Patalon, Director on the SC&H Wealth team, has been with the firm since 1999. Robin supervises highly complex individual and family income tax returns.
Robin’s experience in public accounting, private industry, and income tax gives her a unique understanding and perspective of her clients’ financial picture. Her tax experience includes stock option planning and analysis, charitable gifting strategies, and tax-saving investment methods.
Before joining SC&H, Robin worked for a large public company, where she gained significant knowledge in corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and corporate tax. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in Maryland, an Investment Advisor Representative, and a CFP® Professional.
Robin earned her B.A. in Spanish with highest honors from the State University of New York at Albany, and her M.B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), where she serves on the Personal Financial Planning Committee.
An active volunteer, Robin has worked and continues to work with various non-profit organizations throughout Maryland.
Outside of the office, Robin can be found training for her next race, instructing yoga classes, or playing the piano.
