Joining SC&H Group in 2019, Michael brings over 15 years of extensive tax expertise to the practice. He has experience working in various industries, including government contractors, technology, biotech, biopharmaceutical, financial services, retail, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. Michael assists both public and private entities. His tax proficiency includes:

Michael works to serve clients by building strong partnerships through consistent communication and results. As the firm has a multitude of service lines, Michael seeks to engage clients about all of their business needs and the numerous ways SC&H can assist them in achieving their goals.
His passion for problem-solving, whether helping a new team member understand a tax nuance or assisting a client in solving a tax conundrum, Michael finds getting to a solution is the most rewarding part of his work. The culture of SC&H is also inspiring for him. From his clients to his colleagues, the atmosphere of putting people first, entrepreneurship, high performance, respect for all, and even a bit of fun gives Michael a sense of pride to be part of the SC&H tax team.
With former aspirations to be a lawyer, Michael graduated from Queens College, part of the City University of New York system, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History. A role at a startup changed his course, and Michael found his place in accounting. He completed his MBA as well as a Masters of Accounting at the University of Miami. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Association of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
When Michael is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, particularly on trips to Disney World and visiting family in Florida.
