During Megan’s years with the firm she has served as an asset to the audit team overseeing financial statement audits and employee benefit plan audits. Though the practice is industry agnostic, Megan has extensive experience in the healthcare and real estate markets.

Megan approaches every engagement with the appreciation of meeting new people – whether internally as she works with different engagement teams or externally as she works with clients. Through over a decade of client engagements Megan prides herself on the SC&H culture of client continuity, as many of her clients have seen her through life events such as getting married, buying a home, and having children. Her favorite aspect of her job – her relationships go beyond the numbers.

Megan received a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Towson University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Beyond her day to day client priorities, Megan serves on the board of directors for Point of Light, and the finance committees of Pathfinders for Autism and There Goes My Hero. To the benefit of her family first mentality, she enjoys that her opportunities with Pathfinders for Autism includes volunteer activities that her whole family (including kids) can participate in – instilling her same appreciation for volunteering efforts with her family members. Megan has been involved with Hero since early 2016 and holds their mission to provide support to blood cancer patients and their families near to her heart.

Outside of her professional and community efforts you can find Megan enjoying time with her husband and their two children, practicing yoga, or spending time outdoors.

Megan’s favorite mantra – be kind – is a sentiment that not only motivates her personally and professionally, but resonates with her clients, colleagues, and community contacts daily.
