Kendra Appleheimer is a Senior Manager in the Technology Advisory practice, bringing over 13 years of experience in IT leadership and consulting. Since joining the firm in 2023, she has provided strategic technology services including fractional CIO and IT Director support, software selection, project management, and organizational technology assessments.

She is highly experienced in leading complex software development and systems integration projects, with deep expertise in business analysis, testing, and change management. She works closely with stakeholders to build strategic technology roadmaps and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. Her industry focus includes nonprofit and mission-driven organizations, where she has led the implementation of technology solutions that support operations and amplify impact.

Passionate about problem-solving and operational improvement, Kendra thrives in collaborative environments that drive meaningful change. She values clear communication, thoughtful planning, and building trusted relationships that help clients achieve sustainable, long-term success.

Kendra earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP).

Outside of work, Kendra volunteers as a tennis coach with Special Olympics Virginia and Special Olympics Washington, DC. Her passion stems from personal experience and a lifelong commitment to inclusion and empowerment. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis in a local league, traveling to watch professional tennis, reading, and creating art.
