Judy Brown is a Wealth Advisor on the SC&H Wealth team.  

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Judy delivers integrated financial planning, tax advice, and investment management services to clients nationwide. This coordinated, three-pronged approach supports all aspects of a client’s plan, including retirement income goals, wealth accumulation, risk management, legacy planning, and charitable pursuits.  

Judy also has a special focus on serving nonprofit organizations, including 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) entities. She partners closely with CFOs, Executive Directors, and Boards to support the strategic investment management of organizational assets. By taking the time to understand each organization’s mission, as well as its members and donors, Judy delivers a seamless, values-aligned experience that supports long-term impact.

With a focused interest, Judy follows a proven value acceleration methodology to guide business owners through their exit strategies with confidence. Her goal is to help maximize the sale of their business while ensuring a well-coordinated transition aligned with their personal financial plan.

Judy believes trust is the foundation of every successful client relationship. She values being a consistent resource for her clients and finds the most fulfillment in celebrating both their financial and personal milestones.

With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Judy believes a coordinated strategy of financial planning, tax advice, and investment management is key to long-term success.

Judy earned a B.A. in Management from Gettysburg College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Planning (MACPA PFP) Committee and a past board member of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland.

She is passionate about education and giving back, particularly to underserved communities and youth. Judy has volunteered with Money Power Day in Baltimore and has served as a speaker for Smart Women Securities at her alma mater.

Outside of work, Judy enjoys running, hiking, and traveling. She has hiked the Inca Trail and the Grand Canyon and especially enjoyed visits to South Africa, Israel, and Turkey. Judy also loves spending time with her husband and two daughters.
