A Principal in the Audit Practice, Jodi Harris has been with SC&H Group since 2007. Her main focus is supporting the SOC audit team and ensuring compliance with AICPA standards for clients across a multitude of industries, including healthcare, technology, software as a service, financial services, and automotive titling.
Jodi partners with clients to make sure they have robust control environments and works with organizations to increase their third-party transparency by producing attestation reports. She loves working with her clients to provide value to their organization – the type of value they can leverage for years to come.
Jodi is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), and was named an “Emerging Leader – Woman to Watch” by the MACPA. She is a graduate of Towson University with a B.S. in Accounting.
Very conscious about working towards bettering the city she calls home, Jodi volunteers with many local non-profits in Baltimore. She has given her time and energy to Friends of Herring Run (performing stream and environmental cleanups), Sunday Dinner (serving meals to the less fortunate), Baltimore Cleanup (picking up trash throughout the city), and many more.
In addition to volunteering, Jodi loves spending time outdoors, and has recently started “overlanding” – a type of self-reliant adventure travel to remote destinations where the journey is the primary goal. This type of travel has become a real passion of hers, as Jodi ardently believes it’s not where you end up, it’s about how you got there. She also loves spending time with her dogs and practicing yoga – but finds doing both at the same time is impossible!
