Dan Gartrell is a Principal who joined the firm in 2022. With a focus on tax planning and tax compliance for pass-through entities and their business owners, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice.
Dan specializes in serving a diverse range of industries, including government contractors, professional service providers, restaurants, retailers, and real estate partnerships. His passion lies in achieving outstanding outcomes for clients, fostering a collegial work environment that promotes growth, and supporting colleagues in reaching their professional goals.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Cum Laude honors from Salisbury University and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a Maryland CPA and is admitted to the Bar of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the United States Tax Court.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dan is actively involved in various organizations, including Junior Achievement’s Associate Leadership Council (ALC). He has also held roles such as Treasurer for Bon Air Golf and Country Club and the Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Baltimore, Inc.
Outside of the office, Dan enjoys golf, traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
