Augusta Boyce has been a dedicated member of our team since November 2021, bringing 18 years of invaluable experience in public accounting, with a focus on real estate and partnership tax. With a proven track record in navigating the intricate tax landscape of affordable housing, Augusta is uniquely positioned to guide clients toward strategic financial success.

As a dedicated member of the Affordable Housing Group at SC&H, Augusta’s primary focus is on tax services, with an emphasis on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and related industries. Additionally, her practice also extends to working with individuals, trusts, and small businesses. Clients partnering with Augusta gain access to customized tax solutions ensuring they benefit from a personalized approach that addresses their unique challenges and objectives.

Augusta is committed to helping clients navigate potential challenges while identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the ever-evolving tax landscape. Augusta earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from Elon University and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in the state of Maryland. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).

Passionate about making a difference, Augusta enjoys working with affordable housing developers, contractors, architects, and not-for-profits. While affordable housing is a unique and complex area of taxation, Augusta appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the creation of sustainable, affordable housing solutions that leave a lasting mark on the community.

Outside of the office, Augusta is deeply involved in her family’s love for riding horses, spending time at the barn, riding lessons, horse shows, and races. She also nurtures a small garden, chickens, and bees, embracing a delightful blend of nature and family.
