Ashley Zumbrun, CPA, is a Director in SC&H Group’s Audit practice, specializing in financial statement audits, reviews, and due diligence engagements. Ashley also audits 401(k) plans, ensuring compliance with ERISA and DOL guidelines and regulations.
Since joining SC&H Group, Ashley has worked with real estate companies, investment funds, benefit plans, and not-for-profits. She manages daily client communications, assisting with audit compliance, research projects, and internal control areas of improvement.
Ashley is also passionate about increasing opportunities for client and peer success within her department as a member of the Audit Efficiency team. In this role, she has been reviewing the current audit process to identify improvements through use of people, processes, and technology that will increase efficiency and ultimately lead to an improved experience for staff and clients.
When not working to help her clients and colleagues blossom, Ashley practices yoga, enjoys spending time as a fur-parent to her two pups Herbie and Casho, and gives back to the community through her board involvement.
She currently serves as Secretary of Rebuilding Together Baltimore, a non-profit devoted to providing critical home repairs to low-income homeowners that serves seniors, families, and people with disabilities in the Baltimore area.
Ashley earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Stevenson University, and is a member of The Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA).
