As a Director of SC&H Group’s Audit practice, Angela has been assisting clients at the firm for over 13 years. With the practice’s diverse portfolio of clients, Angela’s expertise is with technology and retail entities, as well as serving several state and local government agencies. She specializes in serving privately-held businesses perform financial audits, reviews, and consulting procedures, including ASC 606 and due diligence.
Engaging with her team and cultivating close client relationships is what Angela finds most rewarding about her work. The ability to rise to challenges and problem solve as a team, delivering exceptional results to clients, continues to inspire and motivate Angela every day.
Angela graduated from the University of Maryland, receiving her Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Additionally, she holds a graduate certificate in forensic accounting from the University of Baltimore, and she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Maryland.
A nonprofit close to Angela’s heart is Improving Education, an organization that develops new designs for instruction, interactions with parents, and community engagement to improve early literacy outcomes of children in Baltimore City, focusing predominantly on the children in grades K-2. The feedback she has encountered from program participants has inspired her to continue working with the organization, serving on the board since 2016 and as its treasurer since 2018.
When she is not working or volunteering with Improving Education, Angela indulges in family time. Beach days, baking, and playing with her daughters is her favorite out of office activity. She also enjoys taking walks with her husband and family dog and spending time with extended family.
