As a Controller for the Accounting Solutions practice, Abby provides our clients with confidence and security that their financials are complete, accurate, and timely. Her passion for innovation and automation of processes allows her to evaluate and implement time and money saving solutions for her clients.
Abby joins the Accounting Solutions practice with over 10 years of accounting experience. She originally started with the firm in 2012, specializing in income tax compliance, and rejoined as part of our Accounting Solutions practice in December 2021—bringing with her additional experience from roles as an accounting manager, controller, and CFO for construction and technology firms, In those roles, Abby oversaw the accounting, finance, legal, human resources, and information technology teams.
Abby is a licensed CPA through the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy. She graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a B.S. in financial economics and a concentration in accounting.
Outside of work, Abby loves taking walks with her husband and goldendoodle along Bayshore Boulevard in their hometown in Tampa, Florida. She enjoys reading, cross-stitching, kayaking, and traveling. She supports her community through volunteering and fundraising as an active member of the Junior League of Tampa.
