The Tysons Real Estate Networking Forum is thrilled to host a special happy hour for the Arts Council of Fairfax County’s upcoming “Imagine Art Here.” project.

Public art is one of the means by which the real estate community is helping to create a sense of place in the rapidly redeveloping Tysons area. “Imagine Art Here” is a series of temporary public art installations that will allow the public to give direct input into their views of the future of public art in Tysons at four to-be-determined locations throughout the community from May through August 2015. The Arts Council has selected artist Julia Vogl, a DC-area native who is now based in London, as the artist for this project. The Arts Council is reaching out to Tysons landowners and receiving their suggestions and proposals for potential sites.

Arts Council board members Curtis Sano and President Linda Sullivan will introduce the “Imagine Art Here” project and discuss some of Julia Vogl’s early concepts for the art installations.

The event begins at 6:30 pm at McCormick & Schmick’s Tysons. Appetizers will be provided, courtesy of our sponsors Holland & Knight and SC&H Group. As always there will be a cash bar.

Space is limited; please RSVP to attend. Please forward this invitation to other RE principals, professionals and supporters of Tysons’ real estate and art communities.

If you want to receive future invitations, please send us your contact information or join our group on LinkedIn.
