SC&H is hosting Business Volunteers Maryland 2nd annual fundraising event to be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Enjoy catering by Mission BBQ, musical performances, lawn games, raffles and more! The entertainment for the evening is national blue’s sensation, The Dennis Jones Band and opening act, Causey & Effect.
Last year we had a great time and raised $82,000 which went towards providing incredible services, free, to our nonprofit partners. This year we are striving to raise $100,000 – which will help us to do even more, including a lot of new work we are undertaking post the riots in Baltimore. Over the last 10 years, Business Volunteers has helped to infuse more than $22 million in time and talent into Central Maryland’s nonprofit community and plans to infuse an additional $20 million during the next 5 years.
