Jenn Hervy is Chief Human Resources Officer at SC&H, where she oversees the complete HR lifecycle – treating every employee and candidate as a client and ensuring they feel genuinely supported at every stage of their journey. She joined SC&H in August 2026, bringing nearly 30 years of HR leadership to the role.
Over her career, Jenn has built deep expertise across Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Employee Development, and HRIS/HR Operations – spanning global top-five companies to smaller, PE-backed firms. Her work across the Chemical, Manufacturing/Defense, and Financial Services, and Technology industries, including leading global teams, has sharpened her appreciation for how culture shapes the way people work and perform.
A natural relationship-builder, Jenn is passionate about connecting with people at every level of the business. She has coached countless professionals throughout her career – from first-time managers to interns who have gone on to lead initiatives of their own. Trained in Six Sigma, she brings rigor to HR operations, favoring smart technology over manual work and outdated habits to keep teams focused on what matters most.
Jenn holds a Master’s in Public Communication from American University and a Bachelor’s in Communication, with a minor in Business, from Goucher College. She has earned various certifications through the years to include: SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
Outside SC&H, Jenn treasures time with family, sailing the Chesapeake Bay, listening to live music, and travel to see loved ones near and far. She mentors the next generation of HR professionals through Greater Baltimore SHRM and is deeply committed to the arts, nature, and underserved communities in Kent County, Maryland – supporting The Garfield Center for the Arts, The Mainstay, Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne’s County, and the Volunteers of Eastern Neck Island.
