Supreme Energy, Inc. – This New Jersey-based premium home heating oil distributor and HVAC service provider had been operating for almost 100 years, with current ownership involved for the last 30 years. With retirement approaching, ownership was proactively exploring options and had garnered interest from multiple groups but did not feel comfortable proceeding without a full process. SC&H Capital was retained to market the business and solicit bids in a formal process.
SC&H obtained multiple offers covering a variety of solutions and ownership ultimately chose to move forward with a group they felt would provide the best option for employees and existing customers. Closing occurred without interruption to the business, employees were retained, and ownership was able to retire, secure in the fact their legacy would continue.
