Employee Spotlight: Star Athlete Arnold Farmer Keeps Dreams Alive for Children
March 27, 2015
SC&H Group employee, Arnold Farmer, works hard on and off the field.
A former star football player at Towson University in Maryland, Arnold came to SC&H Group as an intern in 2013. In this position, he proved to be a high performer, and a team player that tackled every challenge presented to him.
As a result, he transitioned from being an intern to being a Staff Auditor with SC&H Group’s Audit team in early 2014. Since taking on this role, he has demonstrated his passion for serving clients, colleagues, and the community.
Clearly, this drive came from his experiences as a collegiate-level athlete. Arnold was a recipient of the prestigious Towson University Tiger Award, where he was recognized for his leadership in his community, the classroom, and on the defensive line of the football field.
In particular, Arnold was honored for helping to establish Towson University’s partnership with the Dream Academy, which is a comprehensive and innovative after-school community service program with the Baltimore City Schools. The program mentors hundreds of at-risk youth to realize their dreams.
