Millsaps Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC – This 60-year-old, family-owned car and truck dealership in Mississippi had recently built a brand-new facility, but with decreasing sales, it was becoming hard to support the new building. The dealership was forced to file chapter 11 and a liquidation seemed likely when SC&H Capital was retained.
SC&H quickly obtained a going concern offer for the dealership and inventory. The dealership remained viable while GM approval was secured for the new owner. The company and real property were sold to an individual in the business and operations continued.
