Expertise Beyond the Numbers

Helping the Community During SC&H Group’s Annual Day of Service [Video]

At SC&H Group, community service is an essential part of who we are as a firm. For the past 10 years, we have dedicated time to give back to the community during our annual Day of Service. Watch the following video, and listen to our employees share their passion for this SC&H tradition.

Serving the community is a huge component of our corporate culture. We believe in creating bonds and making a lasting impact in our community.

During our 10th Annual Day of Service, we volunteered with numerous charitable organizations, such as:

  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore
  • Howard County Conservancy
  • Maryland SPCA
  • Baltimore Museum of Industry
  • The Baltimore Station
  • St. Vincent de Paul
  • Arlington Food Assistance Center
  • Alternative House

The opportunity to show compassion and help others is truly special. During the Day of Service, we encourage employees to take their work from their desks into the community, and assist those in need in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas.

SC&H employees average more than 27 hours per person per year to various community service activities. As a firm, we understand the importance of connecting with our community – and taking the time to make an impact beyond our business.

We value the importance of helping others reach their goals. It is a reflection of the social impact we strive to make as a firm, and of the principles we establish in our culture.
