How Real Estate Leaders Are Transforming Tysons Corner
January 8, 2014 - By: SC&H Group
In the future, Tysons Corner, in Northern Virginia, will have a skyline that mirrors any major city in the U.S.
A main driver of this development, the Tysons Corner Comprehensive Plan Amendment aims to transform the region into a walkable, green urban center that will be home to 100,000 residents and 200,000 jobs.
On January 29, SC&H Group is hosting a unique panel of real estate trendsetters from industry and government who will discuss key market-making developments in Tysons Corner that will bring this vision to life.
These panelists include:
- Bill Hard, Principal and Executive Vice President with LCOR
- Cory Scott, Assistant Vice President with Macerich
- Catherine Lewis, Branch Chief in the Zoning Evaluation Division at the Fairfax County Department of Planning and Zoning
Both LCOR and Macerich are developing mega-projects that are shaping this new landscape, and participants will hear about the challenges they have successfully overcome.
In addition, Catherine Lewis will provide a government perspective on how Fairfax County is working with these two companies to seamlessly integrate their development projects into the Tysons Corner Comprehensive Plan.
Ross Litkenhous, Principal with SC&H Group, will be moderating the panel and provided some key insights into the event in the following podcast interview. In the meantime, click here to register for the event.
