According to Ready.gov, a public service partnership between DHS and FEMA, 40 percent of businesses impacted by natural or man-made disasters never re-open for business. The study from FEMA, Red Cross, and the Ad Council also found that nearly two-thirds of companies do not have a disaster recovery plan in place.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning are vital processes that help organizations prepare for incidents that interrupt essential business functions. It is critical to invest in and create an effective plan to protect an organization’s financial, operational, and strategic well-being.
