Oracle’s Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service is FedRAMP Authorized

Oracle just announced that its Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) was granted the authority to operate under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, or FedRAMP. This new status is a critical milestone for Oracle’s ability to implement and deploy secure private-cloud environments to its U.S. Government and U.S. Government Contractor customers and partners.

“Mastering the planning & forecasting cycles are critical for the strategic, long-term success of every government contractor, and this news is a huge announcement for our clients and our prospects. This authorization shows a continued commitment by Oracle to help its U.S. government customers satisfy their critical security requirements, and we couldn’t be prouder to call them a partner,” said Pritpal Kalsi, Director in SC&H Group’s Business Performance Management (BPM) practice.

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. FedRAMP uses a “do once, use many” approach to security assessments, thereby saving time and cost while providing full security transparency.
