Fran directs SC&H’s Business Performance Management practice, which he began at SC&H in 2000. In managing the practice, Fran brings both a deep accounting background and years of Oracle-Hyperion implementation experience to SC&H’s clients across all industries, including Fortune 1000 enterprises, growing organizations with a global presence and private, middle market companies.
As an Oracle CloudSelect Platinum Partner specializing in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions from Oracle, Fran and his team help their clients to improve their competitive advantage through business process improvement and the implementation of Oracle’s suite of EPM Cloud software solutions. The Oracle-Hyperion consulting practice’s services are geared to empower our clients to manage their financial and operational information more effectively and efficiently.
Fran is responsible for ensuring that SC&H is looked upon by its clients as an expert and trusted advisor with regard to their core business processes around financial reporting, accounting close/consolidation and planning/forecasting. Hallmarks of the Oracle-Hyperion consulting team consist of world class service, open communication, unparalleled work ethic, and a unique team-based approach assures engagements are completed on-time and on budget – 100% of the time.
His greatest source of pride and passion at SC&H is seeing others on his team seize the moment and achieve their goals. He advises all of his team members that their career is very much in their hands, and he is here to help them.
While his day-to-day responsibilities have him balancing between client strategy and team building/coaching, Fran also loves to get out of the office and take in the outdoors — he has a passion for sailing and is a member of the Baltimore Downtown Sailing Center. He also enjoys crabbing, golfing and skydiving, and come the summertime you can find Fran and his family in Birdland, watching his beloved Baltimore Orioles.
When he joined SC&H 17 years ago, Fran was one of the firm’s first Hyperion consultants, and he helped companies to replace the labor-intensive practice of compiling spreadsheets from multiple departments with a sophisticated means for consolidating their financial results across multiple entities – adding the value of analytical financial insight through a single version of the truth.
Graduating with highest Summa Cum Laude honors from Loyola University Maryland, Fran holds BBA degrees in Accounting and in Management of Information Systems, and he is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified IT Professional, and an Oracle-Hyperion Certified Professional. He is a member in the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Fran also is a regular speaker at Oracle-Hyperion regional seminars, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) conferences, and national user conferences.
Active in his community, Fran serves on the Board of Baltimore Station, and also loves to spend his free time coaching his daughter’s softball teams.
